**Esko Brand Solutions** is a mature, fast growing software business unit within Esko. Our North America Brands Headquarters is in Chicago, IL. Our software solutions portfolio supports and manages the labelling/artwork/packaging and print processes for Brands in consumer-packaged goods (CPG), food & beverage, life science, and retail customers.
**Our Software Solutions** include workflow/approval management, enterprise digital asset management, artwork creation, 3D visualization, store visualization, structural design, prepress, workflow automation, quality assurance, and palletization software.
**Your role**:
As the Product Manager - Pharma you will help us bring our innovative Content Management solution to the Life Science market. You will be responsible for product performance, developing product roadmap, defining product requirements, and successfully launching new features and capabilities that meet the needs of Life Science customers. You will also manage the sales and P&L of a defined product line (or lines) and ensure customer satisfaction, growth, profitability, and strategic leadership of the product line(s) on a global basis. Additionally you will be responsible for gathering insights and by partnering with customer facing colleagues to understand unmet needs of target customers, identify new opportunities and product enhancements.
In this role, you will report to the Director/VP of Product Management, and you can be based in EMEA or USA. Whilst this is a remote role, you will be required to attend our offices when required, and there will be approximately 30% travel (across EMEA and USA mainly)
**Primary responsibilities and key activities**:
- Manage the performance and sales turnover of your products in the different regions by strong market understanding and by identifying/defining actions to increase sales of product(s)
- Gain a deep understanding of customer experience, identify product improvement and generate new ideas that grow market share, improve customer experience and drive growth.
- Create 1-3 years vison and get buy-in for the vision both internally and with key external partners; provide input into Rationalized Roadmaps
- Develop product pricing strategies and go-to-market models, in partnership with Global Pricing, Sales Enablement and Product Marketing, based on in depth knowledge of customers, competitors, channels
- Translate product strategy into prioritized epics based on business and customer impact and assist technical product manager to complete business aspects in Aha
- Take ownership of commercial accelerated product development (APD process) to deliver with quick time-to-market and optimal resources: defined user requirements, business plans, price-performance maps, etc.
- Drive impactful product launches working with Technical, marketing, channels, executives, and other product management team members
- Support for the person responsible for Alliances and Partnerships to accelerate product growth through channels and alternate sales methods
- Evaluate promotional plans to ensure that they are consistent with product line strategy and that the message is effectively conveyed
- Act as a thought leader and evangelist both internally and externally to build bran and awareness
- Represent the company by visiting customers to solicit feedback on company products and services
- You will collaborate closely with R&D, Operations, Marketing, Solution Architects and Sales
- You will work very closely with a Technical Product Manager, with whom you will work to define business priorities of epics and requirements
- You will develop product definitions, licensing requirements and release schedules (when applicable)
- You will work with marketing to formulate marketing claims and other messages to customers and prospects
- You will work with Sales to set appropriate price levels based on ROI and other metrics. You will answer questions from our Sales team and support difficult opportunities related to your product portfolio. You will develop sales tools for your products.
**Qualifications and professional experience**:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Demonstrated product management experience in the Life Science industry, preferably in the development of software solutions for content management and regulatory compliance.
