**COMPANY: POLITICO**
**POLITICO is seeking a dynamic and motivated graduate to join its Brussels-based Office Life Team as Office Management Trainee.**
In this role, you’ll join many other talented professionals in our pioneering and growing media company and receive in-depth training in Office and Operations Management in an international environment.
This is a full-time position for a 6-month trainee contract with March 2024 as ideal start date, and it does not require applicants to be enrolled students.
**What You’ll Do**
- Become familiar with and participate in the full general administrative functions which support the Office Management Team.
- Train with the Office Management Team and help deliver an effective onboarding experience to new employees.
- Ensure a high-quality service when welcoming visitors, answering phone calls and organizing meetings.
- Support a positive workplace experience in our Brussels office and assist with employee events.
- Learn how to have a proactive approach to office management, inventory management and supply orders.
- Assist with employee travel and hotel booking.
- Complete various administrative tasks (word-processing, reporting, filing and scanning of documents, PowerPoint presentation, etc.) as needed.
- Serve as the timely liaison between employees and our external IT provider.
**What You’ll Need**
- Bachelor’s degree or vocational training in Management Assistant, Office Management, Hospitality, Tourism or a similar degree/work experience
- Professional knowledge of English and French; other European languages are an asset
- Familiarity with MS Office
- Good communication skills
- Dynamic and pro-active attitude
- Flexible mindset
- Detail-oriented, accurate and very organized approach to daily tasks
- Customer service and hospitality mindset
