**Robert Half** **Talent Solutions** is currently looking for a **AP Accountant (M/F/x) **to join a company based in the centre of Brussels.
Our client is active in the **luxury industry. **You will join an international company and will be part of the Benelux Accounting team.
The scope of responsibilities for this job as AP Accountant includes:
- Scan supplier invoices that arrive through other channels than our portal ;
- Record on a daily basis suppliers' invoices, including matching invoices with PO ;
- Send reminders to owners of PO/MIGO (flow processing) ;
- Obtain in due time approval for non-PO suppliers' invoices ;
- Manage the Accounting mailbox ;
- Contact suppliers directly to reconcile balances ;
- Contact suppliers to ask them to use our portal ;
- Manage the process of creation and modification of suppliers as per the Group policy;
- Initiate appropriate action on and close follow-up of overdue items ;
- Review A/P ageing balance for presentation to the Accounting Management ;
- Document processes with other colleagues of the A/P team ;
- Provide general support to A/P team and the financial department ;
- Build a close relationship with back office and business teams.
The requested **qualifications** for this job as **AP Accountant **include:
- You have a Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance ;
- You are fluent in Dutch and French and have a good knowledge of English ;
- You are a recent graduate or have a first relevant experience ;
- You have a good knowledge of Excel. Knowledge of SAP is an asset ;
- You have excellent communication skills. Also, you are proactive and ambitious.
