**Loyens & Loeff Belgium is currently recruiting a legal intern for our Banking** **and Financing practice.**
**What will you do as a legal intern?**
- You support the lawyers of the practice group in the field of know-how, research projects, business development and files.
- You collect information about developments in the field of European and national financial law, ESG and insolvency.
- You contribute to structuring and updating know-how, models and memoranda, you are involved in drafting newsletters and legal research.
- You will support the team with client onboarding and KYC requirements and business development initiatives.
**Are you the one we are looking for?**
- You are currently a student obtaining (or you already hold) your Belgian Master of Laws degree and you have a good academic record so far.
- You have an affinity with financial law and transactions, and a keen interest in, among other things, ESG, Fintech, financing contracts, insolvency and security laws.
- You have a perfect command of Dutch or French and an excellent knowledge of English.
- You are accurate and able to summarize complex information in a correct and understandable way.
- You are a team player.
- You are available for 2 days a week for approximately 2-3 months (to be discussed in mutual agreement).
