** THE CONTEXT**

Drawing on their previous demand planning and commercial experience and working closely with the Pallecon/FMS commercial and asset productivity teams, the Demand Planner will be primarily responsible for developing forecasts and scenarios for customer demand, in terms of issues and sales revenue, and returns (collections) for all products within the Pallecon EU portfolio, and for reviewing and consolidating forecasts for FMS plastic pallets from the countries and regions into a European view.

The Demand Planner will play a central role in the Integrated Business Planning process, ensuring the team have the right information and analysis to make clear, fast, and data-driven decisions. The Demand Planner will be responsible for driving data collection and utilizing different sources, including statistical models, historical data, commercial and strategic plans and analyses, and competitor and market information, for this purpose

** YOUR MISSION**
- Collaborate with Commercial, Marketing, Asset Productivity, Finance and Supply planning to understand demand drivers in our marketplace. Incorporate Market intelligence into forecasts. Generate balanced demand and collection plans based on agreed objectives and operating guidelines via the IBP process.
- Facilitate the monthly Demand Review meetings and play a key role in driving Demand, Asset Productivity and Sales plan alignment through the Integrated Business Planning meeting
- Ensure that the assumptions underlying the demand plans are understood and documented along with timely communication ongoing demand forecast changes to key stakeholders in Sales, Asset productivity, Finance and Supply Chain.
- Responsible for achieving plan quality, reviewing historical trends, researching demand drives, developing statistical behavior models particularly for collections forecasting, prepare forecast data and evaluate forecast results.
- Continuously evolve Demand Planning strategy and roadmap with European peers to stay abreast of industry standards and best practices.

** YOUR PROFILE**
- Min. Bachelor in Economics, Supply Chain, Business Administration or related;
- Forecasting/demand planning in a commercial environment ,
- Working cross functionally and connecting data and ideas from different sources,
- Project management and delivery/Stakeholder management,
- Strong quantitative and analytical skills
- Understanding of statistical based demand planning,
- The ability to bring people together and foster a one team mentality,
- Excellent interpersonal skills
