The Production Supervisor reports to the Plant Manager and has primary responsibility for organizing and managing the team according to the production plan, to ensure team productivity, compliance with Company’s procedures and work instructions. The jobholder also contributes to the improvement of manufacturing processes and product quality.

PRIMARY DUTIES:

- Lead, Oversee and motivate the production team to maintain a good level of work and productivity.
- Organize production administration/batch instructions for operators.
- Make employees aware of health and safety issues at work, with the aim of reducing accidents by ensuring and encouraging employees to follow the safety and housekeeping rules and standards.
- Ensure that the production is made in accordance with production plan, procedures, and standards, proposing changes whenever appropriate.
- Maximize the use of available resources, the reduction of operating times, increase productivity, reduce costs, and decrease the number of quality nonconformities.
- Ensure compliance with Quality & HSE policies and with the procedures set out in the Internal Policies
- Ensure compliance with Procedures and all Work Orders established. Must deliver the planning.
- Assist in executing production tasks where appropriate.
- Remain flexible in approach and be prepared to undertake other tasks as and when required (is seen as one of the key jobs on site).

**REQUIREMENTS**:

- Bachelor degree or equal through experience.
- Experience in a similar role (3 to 5 years).
- Good written and verbal communication skills.
- Good computer skills (Microsoft windows).
- Able to communicate and instruct members of the team to perform all duties as required.
- Flexible and adaptable task orientation.
- Preferably knowledge of SAP.
