In this role you will be a member of our Subsidiary Treasury & Banking team which sits within our Internal Treasury unit.
The Internal Treasury unit is responsible for corporate credit, cash management infrastructure, subsidiary banking and treasury management of Equinor’s subsidiaries: capital and legal structure management, liquidity, FX management and partner alignment; all done in close collaboration with relevant internal units and external counter-parties. In addition the unit provides support and financial advice to the Equinor Group and business areas related to existing business, business development and M&A.
In this role you will have the opportunity to;
- Be responsible for treasury management of a portfolio of Equinor subsidiaries and associated countries.
- Align with corporate staff, in particular Tax, Legal and other Treasury units, along with having extensive interfaces with many of Equinor’s business lines and countries. Externally there will be collaboration with banks, counter-parties and others.
- Be the primary point of contact with Finance & Control managers of relevant business areas and subsidiaries regarding subsidiary, treasury strategies, balance sheet (financial structuring), liquidity management and foreign exchange exposure.
- Understand the corporate treasury set-up and gain valuable experience as a basis for future development within the organisation.

For this position, we are also looking for:
- 3+ years of relevant work experience.
- The ability to work in a unit with broad responsibility and a high degree of interaction with internal and external stakeholders.
- A strategic and commercial mindset, with an analytical, structured and systematic approach.
- A person who is dedicated and self-driven.
- A professional level of English, both verbal and written is required.
- A strong digital understanding, with the ability to identify opportunities for improvement.
- Experience with/an interest in financial modelling would be advantageous.
