**Functie**:
As Senior AR Accountant you report directly to the Accounting manager. The mission focuses on the accounting management of public and private products. As a Senior AR Accountant, you have your own accounting files for which you are responsible and a second part where you implement all your experience in support of the Accounting team. The mission focuses on the accounting management of public and private products, it is essentially about:

- Accounting monitoring of public and private securities
- Daily AR reconciliation
- Participate in team tasks if needed
- Participate in monthly closings
- Improvement proposal and automation

**Your main responsibilities**:

- Coordination and control of the accountancy of the different legal entities and Belgian business units:

- Ensures the completeness and accuracy of the financial statements for its part: balance sheets, income statements and schedules (all bundles). Respect all the deadlines for reporting these statements, in accordance with the legal calendar and the deadlines provided by the Group. All in agreement with BEGAAP and IFRS;
- Suggests the upgradeable maintenance of the SAP accounting reference system in line with technological developments and accounting and tax standards for its domain (AR FI). Implements and follows these changes;
- Implements and monitors internal controls;
- For the client part, prepares and reviews with external auditors the statutory accounts of all legal entities and the package for the works council;
- Other Compliance work (structural survey, etc.);
- Balance sheet reconciliation (closing file);
- Sub-system and General Accounting (CA) reconciliation.
- Reporting of figures and appendices in HFM (Group reporting and consolidation tool), responsibility for the accuracy and completeness of this reporting and compliance with deadlines;
- Privileged interface with external & internal auditors for its area of competence and all legal entities
- Participation in corporate projects as financial SPOC (single point of contact), bringing the necessary expertise to the success of the project.
- Participation in accounting or financial projects which may go beyond its initial sphere.
- Continuing education: keep abreast of accounting and tax developments in BEGAAP, IFRS, VAT and ISOC.

**Profiel**:

- You have a Bachelor in Accounting or Master in Business Sciences or Applied Economics.
- Minimum 10 years accounting experience.
- Very good ERP skills, preferably SAP (FI/CO). Hyperion knowledge /
- HFM is an advantage.
- Tax knowledge (VAT, ISOC)
