De afdeling Procurement van onze klant is momenteel op zoek naar een Procurement Legal Counsel om hun team in Brussel te versterken. In deze functie draag je bij aan de selectie en het beheer van leveranciers en zorg je ervoor dat de regelgeving wordt nageleefd. Als belangrijk lid van de afdeling Procurement geef je juridisch advies, beheer je leveranciersrisico's en implementeer je strategieën die rekening houden met ESG-aspecten. Je rapporteert aan het hoofd inkoop en werkt nauw samen met verschillende afdelingen. Dit is een kans om deel uit te maken van een dynamisch team, dat bekend staat om leiderschap en innovatie, te werken aan belangrijke projecten en bij te dragen aan de ontwikkeling van inkooppraktijken bij onze klant.
**Description**
- Als juridisch adviseur is het jouw taak om de belangen van de klant te beschermen bij het afsluiten van contracten met leveranciers voor de aanschaf van goederen en diensten;
- Hiertoe bied je eerstelijns juridische ondersteuning aan de inkopers van Procurement bij het opstellen van contracten tijdens leveranciersselectietrajecten. Je adviseert hen op basis van een contractrisicoanalyse over de juiste standpunten en formuleringen wanneer wordt afgeweken van standaard bedrijfssjablonen. Je onderhandelt over contractvoorwaarden met leveranciers en valideert contracten vóór ondertekening;
- Je biedt tijdig ondersteuning bij juridische kwesties die zich kunnen voordoen tijdens de levenscyclus van contracten om een snelle oplossing te garanderen;
- Je ontwikkelt en onderhoudt de contracteringstoolbox van het bedrijf (bijv. contracttemplates, standaardbijlagen en -schema's, bibliotheek met standaardclausules, checklists voor contractbeoordeling om de naleving van de wettelijke vereisten en interne normen te handhaven) en stimuleert proactief de efficiëntieverbetering van het contracteringsproces. Hiervoor zorg je voor een continue externe benchmark met collega's en zoek je voortdurend naar vereenvoudiging en efficiëntie in het contracteringsproces;
- Je zorgt ervoor dat nieuwe wetten, vereisten (intern en extern) en regelgeving (bijv. GDRP, DORA) die van invloed zijn op ons contractuele kader tijdig worden geïdentificeerd en vervolgens adequaat worden geïntegreerd in onze standaardcontracten.
- Je doet onderzoek naar complexe juridische vraagstukken en formuleert oplossingen ;
- Je leidt en animeert de Procurement Legal Academy om de inkopersgemeenschap van Procurement te trainen in de belangrijkste juridische principes en concepten, zodat ze in staat zijn om 1e lijns contracten te beoordelen en te onderhandelen;
- Je treedt op als coördinator met deskundigen op het vakgebied (audit, risicobeheer, beveiligingsfunctionaris, nalevingsfunctionaris, functionaris voor gegevensprivacy, interne controle, MVO, reputatie) om hun vereisten proactief te begrijpen en ervoor te zorgen dat deze adequaat worden ingebed in de inkoopprocessen ;
- Je leidt of draagt bij aan transversale projecten die lokaal of op groepsniveau worden geïnitieerd door Procurement of andere professionele families ;
- Je hebt ervaring met geavanceerde tools voor contractbeheer en toont interesse in nieuwe technologieën zoals AI/GenAI die geavanceerde functionaliteiten bieden voor contractbeheeractiviteiten ;
- Je onderhoudt nauwe contacten en werkt samen met Group Legal Procurement en Local Corporate Legal om de nieuwste standaarden toe te passen en aanbevelingen te doen om ons contracteringskader te verbeteren en best practices te stimuleren.

**Profile**
- Je hebt mínimaal een masterdiploma in de rechten;
- Je hebt 3 tot 5 jaar ervaring op het gebied van inkoop met ervaring in het opstellen, beoordelen en onderhandelen van commerciële contracten voor IT, non IT en outsourcing;
- Je bent oplossingsgericht, pragmatisch en je bent in staat om inkoop
- en bedrijfsconcepten te vertalen naar contractuele en juridische kaders;
- Je bent klantgericht, verbeteringsgericht en je hebt een sterk probleemoplossend vermogen. Dankzij je kritische denkvermogen draag je bij aan continue verbetering;
- Je bent een teamspeler en bent in staat om als materiedeskundige andere professionals te begeleiden;
- Je begrijpt in detail alle stappen van een sourcing proces en leveranciers risico management ;
- Je kunt aantonen over solide onderhandelingsvaardigheden te beschikken met betrekking tot complexe juridische kwesties in contacten met zowel interne als externe partijen ;
- Je spreekt en schrijft vloeiend Engels, Frans en/of Nederlands. Contracten worden voornamelijk in het Engels opgesteld, maar oudere contracten kunnen in het Frans of Nederlands zijn opgesteld.
