**Responsibilities & Tasks**

**Funding and Innovation**
- Actively monitor new information related to EU funding programmes, with a particular focus on research and innovation.
- Coordinate COCIR activities & positions related to research & innovation funding.
- Represent COCIR in operational discussions with partner associations and the European Commission.
- Ensure information dissemination and internal communication about funding opportunities.
- Support COCIR activities related to the Innovative Health Initiative.

**Procurement, Deployment, and Investment**
- Coordinate the broader COCIR positioning and advocacy on health systems resilience and financial sustainability.
- Advocate for policies supporting the adoption of new technologies, practices and equal patient access to quality healthcare.
- Contribute to the structured dialogue on the due implementation of the EU HTA Regulation for medical devices.
- Coordinate with National Trade Associations, other COCIR Committees and the European Medical Technology Developers' Associations.

**Advocacy**
- Prepare high-level meetings with external stakeholders and public events.
- Prepare communication documents such as newsletters, press releases etc.

**Profile**
- Passionate about healthcare, specifically the medical technology sector.
- Highly organized, with high attention to detail; project management experience would be an asset.
- Proven ability to understand and communicate complex legal and technical issues.
- Previous experience related to public funding of research & innovation, ideally related to healthcare.
- Understand the environment of the European institutions
- Master’s degree in a relevant field.
- Relevant work experience of at least 3 years.
- Fluent in English and at least one other EU language.
- Team player with excellent networking skills.
- Previous experience in a trade association is of added value.
