Lubrizol is looking to recruit a new
**Account Manager Home Care EMEA (M/F/x) **to work as part of the Advanced Materials team.
This position is home-based, ideally based in Belgium, France or Italy.
**What you are looking for**:
- Autonomously maintaining and enhancing the relationship with customers and partners in the region.
- Introduce new concepts and products into the market. Develop and implement business and customer plans for the European region with focus on Eastern, Northern, Central and UK, preparing and owning budgets and plans for profitable new business growth.
- Formulate and implement near and long-term strategies to achieve aspirational revenue and profitability targets.
- Supporting and developing home care concepts incorporating Lubrizol products together with customers R&D and Marketing teams.
- Managing the preparation, organization, presentation and follow up of market activities such as seminars, training and tradeshows.
- On-going market intelligence to ensure relevant new concepts or products are developed.
- Staying current on competitors’ activities.
- Work in partnership with the Technical Support Team to service key accounts and to prospect new accounts.
- Technical presentation to the customers and articulating their unmet technical needs internally to develop a solution.
- Ensure and maintain business compliance with local laws and regulations and operate within Ethics and HS&E Policies and procedures, participating in training as and when required.
**What we are looking for**:
- Minimum a Bachelor’s degree, preferably in Chemistry or related
- Minimum 2-3 years of sales experience with demonstrated track record in the chemical industry
- Good understanding of the homecare and industrial markets is a plus
- Fluent communication skills (verbal and written) in English, any other language (German
- French Dutch) is an asset.
- Strong negotiations and value selling skills
- Problem-solving skills, ability to work independently.
- Good Interpersonal skills and ability to work with people at different levels and in different countries
- Strong desire to acquire new technical knowledge and learn new things.
- Adaptability to various cultures.
- Being results oriented
- Being in possession of a valid car driver’s license is essential.
- Willingness and ability to travel with a highly flexible schedule up to 25% within Europe.
