Cloud Network Security Architect

Responsibilities:
- Design and implement highly performant secure cloud network architecture, ensuring the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of our cloud-based systems and data.
- Develop and maintain security policies, standards, and procedures for cloud network infrastructure.
- Implement security controls and measures to detect, prevent, and respond to security incidents and breaches.
- Stay current with industry trends, emerging threats, and best practices in cloud security to ensure our infrastructure remains secure.
- Provide guidance and support to other teams on security-related matters, including architecture reviews, threat modeling, and security testing.
- Participate in incident response activities and assist in resolving security incidents as needed.
- Contribute to the development of security awareness training and educational materials for employees.
**Requirements**:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. Master's degree preferred.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in cloud security architecture and engineering.
- In-depth knowledge of cloud computing platforms (Primarily Azure but AWS, Google Cloud are a plus) and their security features.
- Strong understanding of network security principles, including firewalls, VPNs, IDS/IPS, and secure protocols.
- Hands-on experience with security tools and technologies, such as SIEM, DLP, WAF, and endpoint security solutions.
- Familiarity with industry standards and frameworks, such as NIST, CIS, ISO 27001, and CSA.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to assess complex security issues and recommend effective solutions.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively in a cross-functional team environment.
- Relevant certifications such as CISSP, CCSP, CCSK, or AWS Certified Security Specialty are a plus.
- Relevant technology certifications are a plus (Palo Alto, Cisco, Azure, )
