**Company**: Very centrally located in our capital, a brand new hotel will open this late summer.
With 200+ rooms, the hotel will offer a lot of possibilities for business trips, but it will also be the ideal base for leisure visitors to discover Brussels.

**Duties**:
The pre-opening phase of this hotel will take **several months**. There is a lot involved in the opening of a hotel and this is where you as GM will be actively involved.
Together with the sales manager, you will initially focus on **positioning** the hotel in the market.
You will also take care of all** preparations** in terms of furnishing and installation in the hotel and will of course immediately start** recruiting** the team.
As GM, you are** the face **of the hotel and are responsible for the day-to-day** running** of the hotel. Together with the team, you ensure every day a warm welcome and **top servic**e for every guest.
You manage the **various department**s, in which **coaching** plays an important role. Of course, you take into account the **values and imag**e of the chain.
Besides the operational and commercial aspect, **finance** is also an important part. You are responsible for** budget** preparation and follow-up and reporting time and again to the international management.
**Profile**:
- Experience as a General Manager in a hotel chain
- Experience with a previous pre-opening is a big plus
- Strong communication skills
- The necessary skills to act as a leader and communicate at all levels
- Independent, driven and focused
- English
- and French-speaking. Dutch is a plus
- Knowledge of PMS system Opera makes it easy
