Although the hotel is part of a well-known international chain, it reacts flexibly and autonomously to contemporary food trends. That is why both business and leisure guests find their way to this stylish hotel in the center of Brussels.

**Duties**:
This hotel recently launched a new restaurant concept. The new Restaurant Director will therefore be dedicated to internal coaching of the team and optimization of work processes. As a Restaurant Director you report directly to the GM and you are autonomously responsible for perfect service in the restaurant. You are the face of this outlet and hold guest service, customer friendliness and quality in mind in order to deliver excellent customer service.

The Restaurant Director:

- Supervises the restaurant's mise-en-place, service operations and clean up after the shift
- Ensures customer-friendly and quality service
- Maintains reservations and ensures efficient layout and set-up of tables and the room
- Welcomes customers and accompanies them to their table and takes care of customer relations
- Coordinates between kitchen and dining room operations
- Presents the beverage and food menu and advises and orientates customers in their choices
- Is responsible for checkout and maintaining the cash register

**Profile**: We are looking for a dynamic and positive minded person who has at least 3 years of experience in a restaurant environment. A born hospitality person who exudes service in the pure sense of the word. We are looking for someone who can lead a medium sized restaurant team and convey his/her enthusiasm to them and come across as particularly smooth and jovial. Ideally, you speak all three national languages, although not all three have to be equally perfect
