**Company**: This stylish 4-star hotel in our capital has over 200 rooms, a spa, two bars, a restaurant and over 1000m² of meeting space. Thanks to its good location and accessibility, the hotel attracts a broad clientele with a nice mix of corporate, MICE and leisure guests.
The hotel is part of a large hotel chain, which puts it firmly on the map in Brussels and abroad.
The commercial department comprises sales, m&e and reservations and has a total of 6 people, including you as DOS. As Director of Sales, you will have an awful lot of opportunities here and there is also plenty of growth potential.
**Duties**:
Als Director of Sales stuur je het commerciële team aan. Dit zijn je hoofdzakelijke taken:
- Je draagt de naam en merk van het hotel naar buiten
- Je gaat actief op zoek naar nieuwe klanten en zorgt voor groei van de business
- Je doet aan relatiebeheer en verzorgt de PR aan bestaande klanten/gasten
- Je brengt de noden van de klanten in kaart en bespreekt met hen de mogelijkheden op vlak van zalen, kamers, f&b
- Je staat in voor de opmaak van RFP's, contracten,...
- Je leidt, begeleidt en stuurt het team
- Je rapporteert rechtstreeks naar de General Manager van het hotel
**Profile**:
Obviously, you have been bitten by sales. Ideally, you can also tick off these dots:
- Experience in the hotel industry or related sectors, knowledge and understanding of hotel operations
- iI you have already been able to build up a network, that is definitely a plus
- You speak French and English, ideally also Dutch
- Communicative and spontaneous
- Commercially driven, with excellent negotiation skills
- You can work autonomously and take initiative
- You are a real people manager and motivate your team to achieve results
Some insight into Revenue Management is desirable
