Introduction
We're looking for a Senior Back-End Developer, who has expertise in Java / JEE and interconnected enterprise-level systems.
Mission is Near-site, full-time, long-term based in Brussels. No fully remote options available.
As a Near-site option, working remotely will be possible only in case you live up to 2h driving from Brussels.
Function
[Essential] Implement core business logic.
Understanding and implementation of security and data protection.
[Essential] Design and develop APIs.
Participating in the design and creation of scalable software.
Maintenance of code integrity and organisation.
[Essential] Writing clean, functional code on the back-end.
Compile and analyse data, processes, and codes to troubleshoot problems and identify areas for improvement.
[Essential] Testing and fixing bugs or other coding issues
Write technical documentation
**Requirements**:
**At least 7 years of specific expertise in**:
Back-end languages and frameworks, in particular Java (JDK8 or later)
Web development cycle and programming techniques and tools; in particular JEE (version 7 or later), XML and SOAP-based web services (e.g. JAX-WS).
Database technology, specifically Oracle RDBM
**At least 5 years of specific expertise in**:
Code versioning tools such as Git or SVN
Using issue-tracking, continuous integration and collaboration tools such as the Atlassian tool suite, in particular Jira, Confluence and Bamboo (or equivalent)
