**Robert Half** **Talent Solutions** is currently looking for a **Senior Accountant (M/F/x) **to join a company based in Watermael-Boitsfort.
Our client is active in the **retail sector**. You will become part of a company comprised of 70 enthusiastic professionals with an open and friendly working culture.
The scope of **responsibilities** for this job as **Senior Accountant **includes:
- Manage supplier & customer accounting processing in-going/out-going invoices and coordinating vendor payment process and customer reminders ;
- Encoding of banks ;
- Expenses notes reviewing and managing in the tool ;
- Booking the various provisions for the monthly closing ;
- Drive the monthly/ quarterly and annual accounting closing process ;
- Various daily administrative tasks ;
- Monitor outstanding balance sheet accounts ;
- Act as point-of-contact for our external accounting firm ;
- Prepare the required elements for the monthly VAT return ;
- Participate in the optimisation of the accounting processes.
The requested **qualifications** for this job as **Senior Accountant **include:
- You have a Bachelor's degree in Accounting/Finance ;
- You are fluent in English and have a really good knowledge of French and/or Dutch ;
- You have at least 5 years of experience as a Senior Accountant ;
- Knowledge of SAP is an asset ;
- You are organized and proactive with a strong solution oriented mindset.
