The Strategy Support & Business Excellence lead reports directly to the General Manager and is a core team member of the Site Leadership Team. You help define and deliver the Site Strategy, ensuring that we will continue to improve our competitive edge and be the best in delivering our products to the patients we serve.

This role leads and develops a team of diverse professionals with a strong focus on operations, data analytics, and continuous improvement and works closely with the Global Business Excellence Lead for the small-molecule platform to support the site’s improvement programs.

The Strategy Support & Business Excellence lead is accountable for delivering value to the business through:

- shaping and translating the strategic roadmap in line with the site and small-molecule platform ambitions regarding reliability and competitiveness,
- driving the digital transformation of the site.
- leading change management for the site to support its Transformation Journey Beerse 2030,
- setting up and managing the communication channels that support a culture of ownership-teamwork-patient focus,
- implementing and securing the Johnson & Johnson Production System (JJPS) and Lean Manufacturing methodology and related improvement projects,
- shaping and managing our competency development programs in the context of an agile organization and workforce of the future,
- ensuring the inflow and development of talent (e.g., young graduates, BE³ST pool operators).

**The Responsibilities and The Impact YOU Will Have**:

- You lead the development and deployment of site Goals & Objectives, ensuring we set site priorities to meet both our Beerse 2030 Transformation strategy as well as the broader JSC strategy. You align the site dashboards and scorecards, collaborate across functions internally and externally to achieve end-to-end alignment.
- You lead the site’s Digital Transformation journey towards a Predictive Plant and build capabilities in data analytics & visualization and intelligent automation.
- You champion the site culture action plan and lead Change management and Communication initiatives to ensure employee engagement.
- You manage the site Learning & Development Office and develop the necessary short term and long-term actions to facilitate efficient and effective training of employees to guarantee expected safety, quality, and productivity standards.
- You attract diverse talent by improving our employer branding and hiring strategy through influencing and shaping Talent Acquisition, Campus processes and JSC people leaders. You ensure development of future leaders through the Young Graduate Development Program and talent development for all through Credo initiatives and BE³ST operator pool.
- You ensure that local standardization/ harmonization of processes & capabilities is aligned and shared across the organization.

**Qualifications**:
**We Would Love to Hear From YOU, If You Have The Following Essential Requirements**:

- Minimum of 8 years of leadership in a manufacturing & continuous improvement environment
- Certification or willingness to certify as Lean or Six Sigma Master Black Belt and JJPS site deployment lead
- Capable of influencing without direct authority
- Understanding of overall business environment, including financial impact
- Capable to facilitate discussions and workshops & strong communication skills (written, verbal, presentation) from floor level operations up to senior level
- Experience and solid understanding of Project Management and establishing process & governance
- Expert change leader & transformation capability
- Demonstrated knowledge and experience in JJPS (deployments, diagnostics, health checks and qualifications) preferred
