Our client is a fast growing company active in the** media sector**.
As **Financial Controller **you will be **responsible** for:
- Producing monthly and quarterly financial statements and reporting;
- Analyzing financial data;
- Coordinating and preparing internal and external financial statements;
- Coordinating activities of external auditors;
- Participating in the budget process;
- Evaluating accounting and internal control systems;
- Cash flow management, prepare and maintain cash flow forecasts and projections to effectively manage cash balances;
- Prepare monthly accounting reconciliations, including intercompany reconciliations;
- Manage the accumulation and consolidation of all financial data necessary for an accurate accounting of consolidated business results;
- You will be responsible for ad hoc projects and analysis.
The required **profile** for the **Financial Controller **position:
- You have a degree in finance, accounting or similar at bachelor or master level;
- Minimum 5 years relevant work experience;
- Experience in BE Gaap, IFRS is an asset;
- Fluent in English and have excellent IT skills, especially Excel & MS office and ERP systems;
- Highly motivated and well organized;
- Ability to manage multiple projects/tasks against tight deadlines;
- Strong analytical and mathematical skills;
- You are very accurate in everything you do and remain critical on your own work;
- You know how to set priorities and complete your tasks, while at the same time dealing with ad hoc activities;
- You are positive, flexible, hands-on and you can work independently;
- Ability to improve workflows and processes.
