You may also have the opportunity to work on a variety of projects, covering the full spectrum of ERM’s services.
**Main responsibilities**:
- Perform environmental due diligence projects for industrial and commercial transactions,
- Provide consulting advice to industry and legal clients.
- Prepare concise reports that assess potential environmental liability risks, and compliance and operational status at manufacturing facilities.
- Perform environmental compliance assessments at industrial and commercial facilities, and implement follow-up corrective actions to ensure compliance with federal, state, and local regulations.
- Provide general environmental compliance support to clients, including on site as needed.
- Communicate with clients, ERM employees, and vendors.
- Assessing and training companies on sustainability topics (environment, human rights, etc.);
- Evaluating companies environmental, social and corporate governance and sustainability performance;
- Environmental, social and corporate governance due diligence of companies and investor portfolios;
- Development of labour and human rights corporate risk assessments
- Master in degree in Finance, Economics, Environmental Science, Environmental Management or related discipline with a strong focus on sustainability and ESG ;
- At least 6 months of relevant experience, preferred to be in consultancy with relevant project experiences in Phase I EHS Due Diligence and Phase II Site Investigation, with cross-practices of experiences as a plus (such as EHS permitting, compliance audit, and other relevant experiences);
- Interested in a role of businesses and capital markets in sustainable development;
- Good knowledge of Microsoft Office suit;
- Languages required: native speaker in Dutch and fluent in English;
- Availability to travel, in the possession of a valid driver’s license and good commuting distance to the Antwerp office
