To strengthen our **Packaging team**, we are looking for a high caliber, self-motivated, **Packaging Team Leader **based in **Braine l’Alleud, Belgium**

**You like to work in an** **environment **where you will**:

- Manage and supervise production activities of finished products
- Organize production to supply customers within the objectives of the company, the respect of the quality, security, environment, timelines, and costs.

**More specifically, in this role you will be active in**:

- ** Production**
- You organize the manufacture and packaging to meet deadlines and ensure quality tending toward zero defects
- You are knowledgeable about the processes and tools related to packaging
- You participate in the initiation of packaging according to the procedures and instructions
- You diagnose faults "participate" in their repair
- You assist staff in critical stages
- You ensure the maintenance of logbooks and archiving
- You monitor production orders
- You establish the weekly program of all packaging machines in collaboration with the Supply Cham
- You organize the format changes, cleaning and maintenance in collaboration with operators
- You participate in the drafting of procedures and instructions specific to the business operations and machinery
- You are the back-up of others Packaging team leaders
- You assure monthly the check/update of OEE raw data
- You participate in the training of operators
- **
Quality**
- You are up to date and comply with GMP's
- You enforce GMP's, procedures and instructions
- You process and document the issues
- You conduct investigations
- You participate in improving the quality and productivity
- You participate in the information service packaging
- You highlight any defect or need for intervention requiring judgments that may affect product quality or the safety of the operators
- ** STAFF**
- You manage and motivate the team by rule a team spirit
- You organize the work of your team and dispatch the workload
- You manage schedules/planning of your team
- You manage absence/ holidays of your team-members in order to maintain operational service permanently
- You ensure compliance with safety standards for staff to avoid any incident of employment
- You participate in the evaluation of your team
- You organize and update training plans for the packaging team members
- You report to your management any incident which could have a negative impact on the smooth running of production activities
- Depending on the workload, you perform other tasks under the supervision of the Production Manager

**Interested? For this position you’ll need the following** **education, experience** **and** skills**:

- You have a master’s degree or a Ph.D preferably in the following fields : chemistry, bioengineering, or another relevant scientific orientation.
- You have at least 2 years or more of experience in production lines and/or manufacturing preferably as a teamlead or transversal project leader.
- Knowledge and previous experience(s) in the biopharmaceutical industry is a plus.
- You have good knowledge and/or professional experienced with SAP and MES.
- You have knowledge of business processes related to their functional area.
- You have an honest and good communication skills and are open-minded.
- You have strong analytical and argumentative skills and can defend a case built on solid grounds
- You respect and value others colleagues no matter their background
