For our vibrant People and Workplace Tribe at Telenet, a leader in the telecommunications industry, we are looking for a Data Scientist. Our tribe operates within an agile framework, emphasizing collaboration to optimize the HR technology landscape and leverage data for employee experience enhancement.

Our Senior Data Scientist will be a cornerstone in our People Analytics, Tools and Projects team. You'll play a crucial role in utilizing advanced analytics, AI, and machine learning to derive actionable insights that contribute to the success of our People and Workplace initiatives.

**Key Responsibilities
- Lead data science projects within the People and Workplace domain, collaborating closely with business stakeholders, and other professionals.
- Identify and prioritize challenges related to People Analytics and Workplace projects, translating them into strategic data problems with significant implications.
- Provide analytical guidance in strategic decision-making processes, emphasizing the human aspect of our workplace data.
- Build and maintain predictive models using statistical and machine learning techniques specific to People Analytics, such as turnover prediction, or asset management budget optimization.
- Communicate results through compelling data storytelling and visualization, tailored for HR and workplace-related scenarios.
- Synthesize complex insights into actionable recommendations that resonate with HR and workplace stakeholders. Drive innovation in data science techniques, particularly those applicable to People Analytics and Workplace projects.

**About You
- Master's degree with a focus on data science, informatics, math, statistics, or economics.
- Proficiency in at least one of the required programming languages (SQL, Python, Pyspark), with a willingness to learn others. Experience with Cloud (AWS) is an advantage.
- Strong analytical thinking and structured problem-solving skills, with experience in statistical and machine learning methods relevant to People Analytics.
- Pragmatic approach, utilizing the right techniques for quality and detail without unnecessary complexity.
- Ability to autonomously deliver projects while collaborating with a team of experts within the People and Workplace Tribe. Fluent in English, with proficiency in Dutch preferred.
