To strengthen our **Global Payer Strategy Value team (Access Pricing and External Engagement (APEX)**, based **in Brussels - Belgium or Slough
- UK**, we are looking for a talented individual to fill the position of:
**Global Payer Strategy Lead (GPS Lead)**
**The** **GPS Lead** **will be responsible for**:

- Planning the development of activities and contributing to the development of a viable GV&A strategy to achieve, maintain, and expand sustainable market access for the product/indication
- Act as a Core member of the Global or Launch Access hub at indication level depending on asset’s stage in development
- The GPS Lead is reporting to GPS Asset Lead, bringing is a strategic thought-leader providing advice and guidance to other functions and the Missions
**You like to work in an** **environment **where you can contribute to the following**:

- Integrate multi-disciplinary market inputs (e.g., Region & Local, Medical, Marketing, I2I, GHE, Policy) to build a deep understanding of payer and market access requirements relevant to the assigned product(s)
- Anticipate external trends in the health policy, pricing and access environment to identify opportunities and threats to assigned program; recruit appropriate UCB resources and capabilities to develop an engagement plan
- Prioritize and translate access requirements into product specifications, options to address the requirements, and the associated rewards and risks
- Co-Lead the development of a clear value proposition for the program, translating clinical attributes and benefits into differentiating advantages; champion real-world evidence generation to complement clinical data to achieve target value proposition. Co-Lead APEX input into CDP and ISEG for payer evidence generation; inclusiveness and co-development with medical, RWE, PCOR - x-functional at evidence level
- Provide VA&P insight and advice to inform commercialization strategic choices; Ensure the value proposition and prioritized value requirements for access are integrated into and optimized within the Global Product Strategy
- Ensure seamless development and integration of the Global V&A Strategy (access targets, value evidence, strategic pricing, external engagement priorities, and guidance for local early planning) to achieve, maintain, and expand market access, pricing and reimbursement for assigned product
- Support BD assessment, depending on capacity and capability, and business needs
- Management and Leadership activities:
- Cultivate input from Regions and [Archetype/priority] Local markets to support the Global Product Strategy, evidence program and VA&P strategy and its operational execution.
- Actively participate in the APEX access hub - keep them connected
- Ensure transfer of responsibilities and asset knowledge from early Mission / to ITM Lead as appropriate, “storing” the knowledge and prepare for transition to “In the Market” and bridge when interfaces need to be built
**Your experience and requirements**:

- 2-6 years of experience in market access-related functions in the (bio)pharmaceutical industry or consulting, could include: health economics, outcomes research, or health technology assessment
- Proven expertise in US Health Care Ecosystem environment
- Expertise in the European Health Care Ecosystem
- At least 2 years of experience in an affiliate or regional or global oversight role in the development of access strategy and/or payer evidence
- Proven track record in the design and implementation of global access strategies, payer and HTA submissions/interactions and/or payer insights generation
- Product launch experience
- Demonstration of successful working relationships with external stakeholders / KOLs
