**Mission**

The Tender & Contracts Manager has a key responsibility in the commercial department regarding the submission of tenders and the contract process.

In collaboration with the commercial department, you will be responsible for crucial steps in the tender process (identification, respond and evaluation). You will be leading the tender team together with sales, finance, product management and legal.

With respect to contract management, you’re the first point of contact for all sales related legal inquiries and requests for approvals for customer contracts. You update and discuss with company’s’ legal counsel on a weekly basis. You will be end responsible to manage the Contract database and for supporting the sales teams during the contract process, when it comes to distribution, storing and maintaining the overview.

**Key responsibilities**:
**Tenders**:
A to Z tender management activities:

- Achieve maximum tender wins through excellence in tender shaping & mapping, submission, and implementation
- Build and execute a strong national plan for tenders
- (daily) Monitor a variety of sources (internal/external) to find tender opportunities
- Coordinate practical integration of key questions/ answers, activities, administrative timelines (e.g., through regular tender core review meetings)
- Ensure high quality Tender Dossier preparations and submissions
- Develop a tender simulation tool
- Develop a dashboard for tender history, monitor, document and analyze outcomes
- (in a tender tracking tool)
- Initiate and lead tender meetings
- Communicate status updates and timelines pro-actively with all stakeholders.
- Ensure tender implementation -if won
- excellence in collaboration with divisions
- Continuous evaluation of tender process and implement improvements

**Contracts**:

- First point of contact for contract analyses and approval
- Manage distribution (internal and external) of contract drafts and finalized contracts.
- Monitor contract expiration dates and inform and coordinate with sales to ensure timely renewals.
- Develop and maintain the internal contract management system, providing easy access to all contracts and proposals
- Collaborate closely with:

- Legal counsel to update and discuss on ongoing legal requests/issues
- Pricing specialist concerning new and expired contracts

**Competencies / Experience**:

- 3 to 5 years of relevant working experience in Tenders & Contracts
- Business Acumen: Proven track record of strong commercial results, constant drive for success and improvement
- Planning and organization: Strong ability to deal with multiple tasks and multiple projects and priorities and deliver on time.
- Customer Focus: Focuses on relationship building, customer service and customer needs
- Articulate and numerical, structured and planning skills - having a process orientated mindset
- Detailed and precise working-habits
- Team player - diplomatic but also focused on hitting deadlines in a high-pressure environment
- Strong communication skills and strong writing/bid text authoring skills.

**Qualifications / Education required**:

- Bachelor’s or University degree level of working and thinking
(preferable business administration/economic/law)
- Languages: Fluency in Dutch, French and English (oral and written)
- Experience:
