The job

For our Manuchar Europe department, we are looking for a sales profile with focus on the Food industry. The sales area of the products is Europe with concentration on the Benelux countries, Germany and France.

Your responsibilities:

- As a key member of our team, your primary focus is on developing and maintaining relationships with both existing and potential clients within the dynamic food industry.
- You skillfully negotiate prices for a diverse range of food ingredients and additives. You are responsible for drafting and closely monitoring quotations, ensuring seamless communication and efficient workflow management.
- On a regular basis, you will maintain contacts with our customers through personal visits and active participation in international trade fairs.
- Together with the Commercial Manager, you will analyze the market and assist in determining the procurement and sales strategies, expanding and optimizing the product, supplier and customer portfolio.
- You fulfill the role of product manager for a specific product, influencing procurement decisions and ensuring optimal stock levels.
- To manage all this, you collaborate closely with various Manuchar colleagues from different departments (Sales, Sourcing, Accounting, Operations, Quality,).

**Profile**:

- You hold a least of a bachelor’s degree and minimum 5 years of experience in a B2B commercial role, preferably in the food industry. Experience in distribution of trading is a plus.
- Fluent in both Dutch and English, with knowledge of French or German as an additional asset.
- You are proficient in Word, Excel and PowerPoint and you work in a structured and organized way.
- You thrive on the perfect blend of maintaining existing relationships while actively seeking out new opportunities. With your communications skills and empathy, you can build long-term relationships with clients and colleagues.
- With your natural flair for sales and strong negotiation skills, you are ready to tackle any challenge and negotiation.
- Your ambition is obvious, driven by the desire to achieve results in a business brimming with new opportunities.
