Heb jij een talent om business inzichten en informatie uit data weer te geven in heldere visualisaties? Dan zijn wij op zoek naar jou
- Als business analist vorm je de brug tussen de product owners en het technisch BI team. Door workshops en individuele gesprekken maak je je snel vertrouwd met het business domein, analyseer je de business vraag met als doel de business vereisten correct te interpreteren.
- Je maakt visualisatie-voorstellen en stemt deze af met jouw gesprekspartners. Jouw talent om inzichten en informatie uit data weer te geven in heldere visualisaties komt hierbij van pas.
- Je vertaalt jouw bevindingen en analyses in een analyse document.
- Je gaat in gesprek met de applicatie eigenaars en eigenaars van de brondata en tekent functionele dataflows uit. Je bezit voldoende technische bagage en bent in staat om kritische vragen te stellen.
- Je ondersteunt de BI- en DWH-architect bij het uitwerken van een design van een optimale BI-oplossing.
- Je beschrijft, plant en organiseert functionele testen in een concreet testplan en neemt zelf ook deel aan de functionele testen.
- Je bent verantwoordelijk over de kwaliteit van de datasets en de rapportage portfolio: je zorgt voor een duidelijke presentatie van de aangeboden datasets en rapporten en informeert de organisatie en de klant.
- Dit gaat om een interne functie binnen het Digital & Information Office Team.
**Wat breng jij mee?**:
- Je hebt enkele jaren ervaring als analist in het uitvoeren van functionele, proces of business analyses.
- Je communiceert vlot en bent in staat om het business domein snel te doorgronden.
- Je hebt ervaring met data modelleringstechnieken en/of andere analysetechnieken.
- Je hebt mogelijk ervaring in een BI-omgeving, of ervaring met rapporteringstools is een plus
- Je hebt gevoel voor het aantrekkelijk voorstellen van data en visualisatietechnieken. Niet enkel de correcte inhoud van de data, maar ook de heldere manier en grafische voorstelling zijn belangrijk voor jou
- Je bent kritisch, nauwkeurigheid van data en de correcte interpretatie zijn belangrijk voor jou.
- Je kan zelfstandig werken en neemt ownership.
- Je bent gestructureerd, sterk analytisch en in staat prioriteiten te stellen. Je zoekt naar het goede niveau van abstractie en weet hoe ver je in detail moet gaan.
- Je werkt resultaatsgericht met oog voor risico’s en kwaliteit.
- Je communiceert vlot in het Nederlands en Engels
- Je beschikt over een master (informatica, economie, handelsingenieur, beleidsinformatica,) of bachelor Informatica of gelijkaardig door ervaring.
- Je bent bereid op regelmatige basis op ons HQ in Hasselt te werken.
