**Omgeving**:
De Nationale Bank van België (NBB) zoekt een Financial Markets Expert voor haar dienst “Betalingen en Effecten”.
De afdeling Effecten van de dienst Betalingen en effecten binnen het departement Financiële markten beheert het effectenvereffeningsstelsel van de NBB (NBB-SSS). Onze klanten zijn het Agentschap van de Schuld ter financiering van de Belgische staatsschuld, de Europese Unie voor financieringsprogramma’s zoals NextGenerationEU en binnenlandse en buitenlandse banken en bedrijven voor hun financieringsbehoeften op de primaire markt en -voor wat de banken betreft
- voor de vereffening van de transacties van hun klanten op de secundaire markt.
**Functie**:
- je bent project manager voor toekomstige projecten die nieuwe functionaliteiten in NBB-SSS integreren
- je zal ook worden ingeschakeld in de werkgroepen van het Eurosysteem in de governance-structuur van T2S waarbij je bijdraagt tot de operationele werking en de verdere ontwikkeling van het T2S-platform, samen met centrale banken en CSD’s waarvan Clearstream Banking Frankfurt, Euroclear France, Iberclear en Euronext Securities Milano de belangrijkste zijn
- je draagt bij tot het organiseren, coördineren en aansturen van de operationele activiteiten van NBB-SSS
- je ontwikkelt en onderhoudt een netwerk van interne contacten binnen de NBB en met externe partners als de deelnemende banken in de NBB-SSS en de actoren op T2S
- je geeft trainingen of communiceert in infosessies met de klanten
- je helpt bij het oplossen van complexe dossiers in samenwerking met de financial account officers, market system experts en team coördinator in NBB-SSS waarbij je ook een beroep doet op de expertise van onze juridische dienst
- je draagt proactief bij tot de continue verbetering van de werkmethodes
- je denkt mee over de strategie van NBB-SSS
- je bent actief in het risicobeheer en de compliance van NBB-SSS.
**Profiel**:
- je beschikt bij voorkeur over een master in (toegepaste) economische wetenschappen, in handelswetenschappen, handelsingenieur, of over een master in de rechten, of IT, aangevuld met een opleiding in financieel-economische domeinen
- je werkt proactief, pragmatisch en oplossingsgericht en kan communiceren en onderhandelen met vertegenwoordigers van andere entiteiten
- je hebt een gedegen kennis van effecten en van de praktische afwikkeling van effectentransacties of een duidelijke interesse hierin en bent bekwaam om je snel bij te scholen
- je hebt een affiniteit met technische toepassingen en de laatste technologische ontwikkelingen zijn je niet onbekend
- je werkt graag in teamverband, je bent gemotiveerd, stressbestendig en een decision maker
- je streeft ernaar om zo goed mogelijk onder alle omstandigheden te beantwoorden aan de verwachtingen van de klanten
- je hebt een innovatieve mindset en nieuwe projecten opstarten en leiden trekken je aan
- je hebt aanleg om in uiteenlopende omstandigheden structuur te brengen
- je bent sterk in analyse en synthese
- je beheerst vloeiend het Engels (niveau B2) en hebt een goede kennis van de tweede landstaal (niveau B1)
- je hebt sterke redactionele vaardigheden
- je bent beschikbaar voor meetings in het buitenland alsook voor gebeurlijke permanentie buiten de gewone werkuren (in thuiswerk of in de bank)
