**Product Portfolio Manager**
**Responsibilities**:
1. Standardization of Methodologies and Practices:
- Develop and implement standardized processes and methodologies for backlog management, Product roadmap management and product development tailored to the SaaS and hosting industry.
- Define clear guidelines, templates, and best practices to ensure consistency and efficiency.
2. Product Ownership and Backlog Management:
- Establish and promote standards for Release Plans and Backlog creation.
- Set and promote a standard framework for team ceremonies and prioritization sessions.
- Work closely with Product Owners and stakeholders to ensure backlogs deliver value to customers.
3. Product Roadmap Management:
- Develop and maintain a comprehensive product roadmap that reflects the unique needs and challenges of the SaaS and hosting industry.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment between product roadmaps and industry trends, customer feedback, and business objectives.
4. Alignment of Product Development Initiatives:
- Facilitate alignment between product development teams, operations, and key stakeholders in the SaaS and hosting industry to ensure cohesive execution of strategic initiatives.
- Coordinate efforts to address industry-specific challenges and opportunities, such as compliance requirements, infrastructure scalability, and data security.
5. Backlog Prioritization:
- Establish a prioritization framework that considers industry-specific factors, including customer demand, competitive landscape, regulatory compliance, and technological innovation.
- Facilitate decision-making processes to resolve conflicts and trade-offs between competing priorities, ensuring alignment with business goals and customer needs.
6. Implementation of Standard Tools:
- Setup Jira boards and workflows tailored to company needs.
- Evaluate, select, and implement standard product management tools and platforms tailored to the needs of the SaaS and hosting industry.
- Provide guidance and support to product teams in leveraging these tools effectively to streamline processes and enhance collaboration.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
- 8 years of experience in product management and/or Product Ownership, with a focus on the SaaS or hosting industry.
- Extensive knowledge of Atlassian suite: Jira, Confluence, Jira roadmap plugin
- Strong understanding of agile methodologies, scrum and Lean practices.
- Excellent organizational and analytical skills and ability to navigate technical complexity and business challenges.
- Experience in implementing and optimizing product management tools
- Proven ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and influence stakeholders.
