**For a company active in the engineering sector, Hays is looking for a General Accountant in Overijse.**
As General Accountant, you are responsible for the accounting from A to Z, the daily accounting tasks and the tax submissions: daily accounting, closing, account reconciliation, AP, GL. You are responsible for the VAT requirements for 3 entities and for the preparation of the year-end closing. You prepare the monthly and quarterly reports, assist with the annual external audit. Think proactively and continuously about process improvement.

**at least 5 years’ experience** in a similar role. You speak
**English **and French or Dutch fluently. You have strong BE GAAP knowledge and have strong analytical, problem-solving and organizational skills. You are able to work autonomously as well as within a team. You have experience with an ERP system and have an advanced level of Excel.

The company offers a permanent contract with a monthly gross salary between 3500 and 4500 gross with fringe benefits (company car, fuel card, pension plan, hospitalization insurance,). You will join an international company with lots of challenges.
