**Service description**:
As part of the group server team, the cloud team lead will head the cloud pool. As Cloud Architect he/she will be the interface between digitalization, Innovation department, software factory (development department) and the Server Team.

The Cloud architect needs to act as an adviser, a challenger regarding the business requirements and will design, develop and implement the cloud solutions.

**Tasks**

Head the cloud pool. Coach, steer and follow up the members of the cloud pool.

Create architecture guidelines and target architecture for cloud services

PAAS, IAAS services will be on Azure

Challenge and validate the business requests for SAAS solutions

design, develop, support, implement and maintain the cloud based services

support in the definition of cloud services and operational concepts

develop and challenge the compliance and security aspects with governance and IT- security department

develop migration strategies keeping in mind costs, business value and maintainability

technical contact person and technical advisor for cloud related requirements

Manage the group tenants

**Profiel**

**Requirements**:
**Technical skills**

Must have a very broad IT knowledge covering infrastructure domains (networking, security)

must have a very good knowledge of the architecture, design and development of cloud services

several years of project experience as a cloud architect or consultant

in ADFS / Saml2 authentication techniques

in service-oriented IT architectures

in cloud platforms

proven experience in designing and developing cloud security strategies and cloud networks

experiences in creating technical / IT concepts, technical specifications and architectures

Proven experience with similar missions/projects/technologies:
deep understanding of Microsoft Azure architecture and services

experiences in AWS architectures is a plus

understanding IoT architectures is a plus

design elastic (cloud) services

**Non-technical skills**

Having experience (>5y) as team lead (min 5 persons) in operational teams

evangelist about new technologies

analytical skills in identifying problems and pointing out solutions

must be a team player

must have planning and organizational skills

must be able to work independently

must be customer and business minded

must have hands-on mentality

able to learn new products and environments quickly

able to write and validate processes and documentation

able to present/discuss (to technical audience) the proposed solutions

able to deliver pragmatic approaches and keeping solutions as simple as possible
