The Chapter Owner lead acts as a **leader** and **expert** in his/ her specialty.
As a Chapter Owner Lead, you are responsible for managing & developing the Chapter Owners within your domain in consultation with the Chapter area lead.
You aim to ensure performance and development of the Chapters in your specialty.
Accountabilities
Guide people & develop talents.
- You are responsible for the overall career direction and capability building track of your Chapters.
- You develop, coach, and evaluate Chapter Owners’ performance, based on 360° feedback view.
- You are responsible for the growth of Chapter Owners & Chapter members, relating to their skill set and their personal achievement.
- You support the Chapter Owners regarding people management activities
- You support cross fertilization thanks to multidisciplinary approach and cultivate t-shaping mindset.
- You act as a servant leader and a reference in your specialty, supporting resolution of complex problems.
- You align with the Chapter Area Lead on knowledge sharing process within sub-Chapter area through guilds.
- You create an atmosphere of confidence & trust to stimulate experimentation, learning & motivation in reaching objectives.
- You define professional standards and methodology, key trends, and innovation practices in the industry for your Chapters.
- You define standards for built-in quality & consistency as well as technological.
- You are responsible for the Vendor and Partner management in compliance with financial follow-up
Co-leadership with Tribes
- You work in very close collaboration with the tribe members, more specifically with Tribe Leads, Product Owner Leads and Product Owners, to establish a co-leadership in the prioritization of the backlog as well as the implementation and delivery executed by the squads.
Scope
- You help the Tribes to deliver a leading digital ecosystem platform that brings a variety of digital Telco and beyond Telco 3rd party services to its users
- You understand the inside-out of both myProximus and Proximus+ mobile apps creating the perfect bridge between the technical details and the business requests
- You define the release strategy of the deliveries (from a technical point of view) and coordinate that with the E-Operations team

- You have proven skills in coaching: can coach Chapter Owners and members in the areas of performance, standards, change and work methods
- You have strong communication skills: communicates clearly and openly to product owners, product owner leads and Chapter members
- You are a people manager: can organize, motivate and inspire people
- You are a problem solving and strong in decision-making
- You are aontinuous learner: you are eager to learn more in your field and develop your own skill set further
**Technical competencies**
- You have experience with agile (certification is a plus)
- You have experience in developing and implementing methods and standards
- You are strong in critical thinking
