- For a Belgian insurer based in Brussels, we are looking for a **Senior Product Manager Life** **Job Overview**: As a Senior Product Manager you will play a critical role in developing innovative life insurance products that align with environmental, social, and governance (ESG) principles. **Key Responsibilities**:Product Development & management**: As Product Manager, you will drive innovation in value proposition development, identifying opportunities to differentiate our life insurance products (3rd and 4th pillar). You will be responsible for the development of new products as well as the management and evaluation of our existing products. Your main task include 1. Drive the **development of innovative life insurance products** that address emerging customer needs and market trends. Create business cases of concepts for management validation. 2. You also conduct competitor analysis (benchmarking) to identify opportunities for differentiation and growth and play an essential role monitoring the profitability of our portfolio, identifying market trends, performing strategic analysis and implementing new European and national legislation related to the life insurance business. 3. Understand and **take ownership in the total E2E product delivery process** (finance, legal, compliance, IT, operations, sales and marketing). 4. the coordination and execution of our regulatory obligations regarding Product Oversight & Governance. 5. Working closely with all internal stakeholders and be the main point of contact for colleagues (sales, operations) to communicate changes related to new legislation, procedures, products and trends clearly and fluently. 6. Provide training and educational resources to internal teams on products, sustainability **Qualifications**: - Master’s or Bachelor’s degree in business, finance, sustainability, or related field - Proven experience in product management, or related roles within the insurance or financial services industry - Strong understanding of regulatory requirements, sustainability - Excellent project management skills with the ability to lead cross-functional teams and drive results - Exceptional communication and stakeholder engagement skills - Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret data and trends to inform decision-making
