The NATO Communications & Information Agency (NCIA) is leading NATO’s Digital Transformation. Based in Brussels Belgium the Analyst for Business Intake the plays a key role in supporting the Portfolio, Programme, Project Management (P3M) team who enable the NCIA to bring on board programmes or projects of work for internal and external customers.
**Who we are:
NCIA acquire, deploy and defend communications systems for NATO's political decision-makers and Commands; the agency is on the frontlines against cyber-attacks, working closely with governments and industry to prevent future debilitating attacks.
**The role:
The Analyst will be part of the Portfolio, Programmes and Project Management ( P3M) team who are responsible for coordinating a smooth transition from projects delivering capability to service operations. The P3M team also leads the implementation of the new Common Funded Capability Delivery governance model within the Agency. As part of the Business Operations Management (BOM) team this role will support the Business intake process and the Project/Service Exception process. The team is responsible for reporting and metrics from the Business intake system as well as guidance and training to other agency staff in all aspects of the workflow based, Business intake toolset.
**About you:
You easily establish good relationship and are able to relate to people at all levels. You produce new ideas, approaches and insights to deliver innovate solutions to problems. Able to adapt to changing circumstances you can manage ambiguity, accept new ideas and change initiatives, further to this you have:
- Thorough grasp of information analytical tools such as Microsoft Excel and Access at the programming level;
- Working experience in the use of MS-Project / MS-EPM;
- Practical experience in project analysis and control, including progress tracking;
- Practical extensive experience in all aspects of Project Management, in the use of a project management methodology and the associated project management tools and techniques.
- Familiarity with financial accounting systems, preferably PeopleSoft Financials and / or Oracle Financials;
- PRINCE2 or other recognised Project Management qualification;
- Experience in the use of advanced computer-based tools in the areas of office automation, such as Excel, SharePoint and workflow tools;
- Prior experience of working in an international environment comprising both military and civilian elements.
- Ideally knowledge of NATO responsibilities and organization, including ACO and ACT.
