Gent, Belgique Too Good To Go International Temps plein

**At Too Good To Go, we have an ambitious goal: to inspire and empower everyone to fight food waste.**

Why do we need to do that? Because more than 1/3 of the food produced in the world is wasted. And that has a huge impact on the health of our planet, 10% of greenhouse gas emissions come from food waste and loss

As the world’s largest food waste-fighting app, we connect stores that have unsold, surplus food with consumers who buy and enjoy it. But we’re more than an app: we are a certified B Corporation and our mission is to inspire and empower everyone to take action against food waste, so we’re doing all we can to create educational tools, make our knowledge as accessible as possible, find new business solutions and even change legislation to reduce food waste.

We’re growing fast, together with our community of 65 million users in 17 countries we saved more than 165 million meals from going to waste - we are incredibly proud of this, but there’s still a lot more we want to achieve.

That means we’re looking for talented people with diverse skills and backgrounds to add to our rapidly growing team. That is where you come in: we’re looking for an exceptional Franchise Specialist to join us in our Belgian office.

**Your mission**

You will play a pivotal role in the growth of Too Good To Go by using your experience and skills in the retail sector (supermarkets, gas stations, etc.) to optimize and grow existing partnerships with prominent players, focusing specifically on franchised stores. You will also develop the business preparing for pitches and delivering pilot launches to make the movement of fighting food waste grow.

**Your role**

Your primary responsibility will be to win and build strong relationships with new franchised stores.

You will start up new partnerships to help more franchised stores fight food waste, and you will work closely with their internal teams to build trust and rapport.

Reporting to the Key Account Team Lead you will work closely with the Success team to ensure the successful onboarding of new stores and deliver training to staff. You will also collaborate with other Key Accounts team members, as well as colleagues across marketing and independent sales.

**The role will include**:

- Research and business development in the franchise landscape. Independently search for new opportunities, learn about the business in depth, build strong relationships with the stakeholders and understand their decision-making process.
- Acquisition and Account Management: onboard new partners who are part of a franchise and become their main point of contact to maximize their Too Good To Go experience throughout the starting phase
- Expand our sales network by developing relationships in your assigned region, sector or account.
- Cross-team collaboration to tackle franchise partnerships in the most effective way and become a trusted Food Waste Advisor. Close collaboration with all relevant departments for a streamlined and efficient approach to ensure a top of the class experience for new and existing partners
- Research-based selling: Build relevant knowledge within the franchise landscape by educating yourself with specialized media, being curious and aware of priorities, targets and CSR strategies.

**Requirements**:

- You LOVE sales. This is a role mainly focused on acquisition and getting new stores to join the platform and ensure long-term sustainable partnerships.
- Solid commercial experience and persuasion skills. You should have an in-depth knowledge and understanding of the franchise landscape in Belgium and demonstrate an ability to acquire and grow business, by establishing trusted and deep relationships.
- Stakeholder Mapping experience, ability to adapt the communication and storytelling, and easily connect with different seniority levels (store level, middle management, HQ level,).
- Organisation and prioritisation: ability to organise the sales pipeline and key priorities to pursue goals in a focused manner
- Autonomy. You’re a self-driven professional who enjoys organising the work week independently
- Full professional proficiency in French and English. Dutch is a strong plus.
- Goal-oriented mindset with an eye for detail
- Active listening skills that enable to connect challenges with solutions followed by actions and results
- Experience or ambition to gain more experience in organising events, giving presentations and building up a network
- A true passion for the mission and raising awareness of food waste & sustainability.

**Our Values**
