**Your Role**:
The ESG Coordinator will be responsible for overseeing, coordinating, and implementing Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) initiatives within the organization.
This role will involve working closely with various departments to develop, execute, and monitor strategies aimed at improving the company's ESG performance and ensuring alignment with established ESG goals and frameworks.
**Your Responsibilities**:
- To work within the Facilities department in co ordination with People Team, Health & Safety and Finance to produce our global carbon footprint data, establish, refine, and execute the company's ESG strategy, ensuring it aligns with industry standards and best practices
- Assist in creating ESG policies, procedures, and guidelines, and ensure their effective implementation across the organization
- Co ordinate with H&S specifically on setting up corporate reporting
- Engage with internal and external stakeholders, including employees, regulatory bodies, and community groups, to communicate ESG initiatives, gather feedback and foster partnerships, specifically in the topics of energy usage, energy efficiency, waste generation, carbon emissions and climate action
- Conduct training sessions and educational programs to increase awareness and understanding of ESG principles among employees and stakeholders
- Responsible for overseeing the gathering of information
- Analyse and interpret data collected in our tool monitor metrics to track performance, identify trends, and generate reports for stakeholders and regulatory compliance
- Prepare and manage the company's ESG reports, disclosures, and submissions to regulatory bodies, ensuring accuracy, transparency, and adherence to reporting standards
- Stay updated on evolving ESG trends, regulations, and frameworks, and recommend enhancements to existing ESG programs to drive continuous improvement
**Your Profile**:
- Proven experience in ESG, sustainability, corporate social responsibility, or related fields, preferably within a corporate setting
- Excellent analytical, communication, and project management skills
- Strong understanding of EU legislation as a minimum however willing to also investigate global laws where SD Worx has a presence ie UK and Ireland, Mauritius
- A good understanding of scope 1 2 and 3 reporting
- A passion for environmental improvement
- Commitment to ethical business practices and sustainability principles
- Multi lingual - English, Dutch and French if possible however German and Spanish would also be a benefit
