To strengthen our Corporate Finance team, we are looking for a Financial and Sustainability Controller with growth potential. As a controller you will serve as the company’s go-to person for all matters related to finance and accounting and play a critical role in financial planning and analysis, supporting key management decisions. Besides the financial part, you are also involved in the ESG-reporting of Amadys Group. Currently, the organisation is setting up their sustainability reporting methods where your main task will be to drive the development of this process. You will also be the go-to person when it comes to all forms of sustainability data, so you will have insight in, and collaborations with multiple departments within Amadys.

**Job description**:
You will be part of our Group Finance team in Antwerp. Your responsibilities will be as follows:

- You manage and monitor financial control systems, ensuring a smooth audit process (interim and year end) making sure that financial statements are signed in a timely manner
- You oversee business control, planning and management reporting. Working with the Accounting teams to ensure month end deadlines are met. You will help prepare monthly review files & perform controls checks
- You support our different entities with insights to make informed decisions towards achieving the company’s objectives both for Finance as Sustainability KPI’s
- You consult with the different entities by providing the financial views for business plans, Key Performance Indicators (KPI), process development and so on
- You evaluate and appraise investments, capital expenditures and financing of projects and provide guidance and recommendations
- You review and analyse cost efficiency and its impact on value creation
- You review and analyse working capital to achieve optimisation

**Profile**:

- You have a Master degree in economics, accounting, corporate finance or similar, with an interest in Sustainability and ESG topics
- You have a first experience as finance or business controller or in a similar position
- You are proactive and able to work autonomously
- You work in an organised way and are able to maintain confidentiality
- You have an excellent knowledge of Dutch & English
- Knowledge of French and German is an asset
