About the role
The Senior Clinical Research (CR) Screener is responsible for registering new and current clinical research participants and conducting a series of pre-screening procedures to determine eligibility and enrol them for clinical studies. The Senior CR Screener develops and executes recruitment strategies and acts in compliance with regulatory requirements related to the protection of all participants confidential data. Additional responsibilities include serving as preceptor for new staff in training and leading projects within the department related to participant outreach, metrics, and database optimization.
Main responsibilities- Fully operational supporting Pfizer New Haven Clinical Research Unit (US)- Maintains first contact with potential participants and informs them about clinical research and available study opportunities- Assesses participants qualifications for participation in a study based on information gathered during the intake in accordance with study protocol inclusion/exclusion criteria and medical guidance- Maintains source documentation, accuracy, accessibility, and confidentiality of participant records and reports- Schedules study screenings and cohorts/groups for dosing according to established timelines and manages appointments
About you- English (C2)- Health care practice experience with valid license (RN, LPN)- Minimum of 3 years' experience in a clinical setting (research or healthcare)- Minimum of 1 year experience in clinical research recruitment- Excellent computer skills, including proficiency in using MS Office tools suite (Excel, Word, etc.)- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, and customer service and professionalism
