**Laurelton Diamonds Belgium BV **, a subsidiary of Tiffany & Co, is a rough diamond trading and manufacturing firm with operations across the globe including Belgium, US, Botswana, Vietnam, Cambodia and Mauritius. The Company procures rough diamonds and manages the worldwide supply chain that cuts, polishes and supplies finished stones to Tiffany & Co. **Tiffany & Co **. (founded in 1837 in New York City) is one of the world’s most storied luxury design houses recognized globally for its innovative jewelry design, extraordinary craftsmanship and unparalleled creativity. In 2021 Tiffany &Co. joined the **LVMH Moët Hennessy Louis Vuitton **group and is one of LVMH 75 distinguished luxury houses.
**Manager Accounting & Reporting**
The Manager Accounting & Reporting Industrial will support the T&Co. periodic closing and reporting processes. It is to ensure that for all Antwerp controlled entities, numbers are reported in compliance with LVMH accounting policies and procedures in a consistent, timely and accurate manner. The Manager Accounting & Reporting oversees policies and internal control procedures and seeks alignment and consistency in accounting principles applied across the Laurelton Diamonds reporting entities. The manager performs a tier one review of income statement and balance sheet for the Laurelton diamonds entities ensuring proper valuation of general ledger positions and inventory specifically.
**Key areas of responsibility**:
**Monthly Accounting and reporting**:
- Ensure reported results and balance sheet positions for Antwerp controller entities are completed in compliance with closing schedules and LVMH accounting policies and procedures (IFRS).
- Ensure accounting records are updated for non-operating entities monthly.
- Review monthly the quality of the closing results for all Laurelton Diamonds entities - to identify reconciling items and to follow up on remediation with local finance managers and accounting teams.
- Work with corporate accounting and tax team on any requests they may have to clarify reported numbers and complete reporting schedules in Syrus in support of periodic LVMH closings.
- Supervise the accounting department of the Antwerp legal entity and be accountable for the bookkeeping, the statutory and group reporting compliance.
- Ensure finance team members are trained and updated with any changes to the corporate reporting packages and requirements.
- Manage/document/standardize/align the accounting manual for all Laurelton Diamonds reporting entities to be compliant with T&Co. accounting policies and procedures.
- Lead financial reviews performed by internal and external auditors.
**Intercompany positions and transfer pricing (TP)**:
- Ensure contracts are in place between Laurelton legal entities/T&CO. to support TP policies and monitor correct implementation and calculate and review recharge prices when required to ensure correct product cost absorption.
- Monitor monthly cross Laurelton facility reconciliation of intercompany balance sheet and income statement positions and advise on TP adjustments.
- Report to the T&Co. corporate tax team on a quarterly basis on the compliance for cost markup calculations as per the TP agreements implemented.
- Coordinate with TP auditing firm assigned in respect of publishing local Transer Pricing files in compliance with local tax authorities’ requirements.
- Support, follow up on tax audits/opportunities and any project related to the transfer pricing environment and updates required.
**Corporate initiatives and compliance support**:
- Support corporate accounting & and reporting projects, sustainability projects, charity reporting, Kimberley certification audits and other certification procedures where DJS is involved.
- Manage statutory compliance tracker and calendar for DJS legal entities
- Prepare annual financial statements and corporate income tax filing and monitor filing of FOD statistics and other government mandated reporting.
**Profile**:
- Relevant studies on university level (Bachelor/Master) in Finance or Economics (TEW, Handelswetenschappen) or equivalent through experience
- 5 years' experience within a financial management role (Accounting, Controlling, Audit,).
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office products. Advanced Excel capabilities, good working knowledge with Power BI and previous experience with financial modeling tools (f.e. Business Objects).
- Experience with an ERP-system (JD Edwards or SAP is a plus)
- You’re accurate, detail and result oriented, facts and figures minded, have strong analytical and organizational skills with proven ability to multitask and prioritize workload.
- Be hands-on, have ability to work independently as well as in a team and have strong interpersonal and people management skills. Feels comfortable working closely with different stakeholders in an international environment.
