The role and responsibilities of the Distribution Centre Supervisor located in Gembloux - les Isnes (WADE) is to organize and supervise all operations directly or indirectly related to the storage and the distribution of GSK vaccines from WADE distribution centre. Reception, Storage, Distribution and Returns of GSK Vaccines products should be done timely, safely & securely in accordance with the highest standards (GMP-GSK standards and policies), highest productivity and flexibility, so as to cope with demand, cost, EHS and security.

This role will provide YOU the opportunity to lead key activities to progress YOUR career, these responsibilities include some of the following:
Support GSK Vaccines sales growth ambition by managing and coordinating WADE teams in charge of reception, storage, inventory, preparation and shipping operations for vaccines and raw materials
Lead from 15 to 20 Export people (blue collar, white collars) through effective performance management and labor relations excellence.
Establish a strong relationship between the different teams of the department by identifying clear roles and responsibilities.
Manage raw materials and vaccines shipments to internal and external customers as per the instructions provided by Vaccines Distribution Planning (VDP)
As a member of the distribution centre leadership team, participate to governances, decisions and initiatives related to the operations
Performance Management and continuous improvement through GPS framework
Treat and close on time deviations and CAPA’s related to operational activities. Ensure good CAPA effectiveness checks in order to keep standards on day to day activities and avoid recurrences
Take part in reviewing operational SOP’s/WKI’s when practices must be reviewed or improved
Take accountability for best practices as per GSK policies and GXP requirements. Ensure compliance of operational activities with GXP, quality, training, EHS, security requirements. Develop solutions to enhance quality, efficiency, capacity, safety and security. Participate in or coordinate projects that involve operations (new distribution flow, change of cold chain concept, continuous improvement...)
Be part of the EHS improvement and culture change inside the teams. Participate to risk assessments within the distribution centre. Ensure safety observations identified on operational activities are addressed and support solutions
Interact with different stakeholders, internal (Compliance, Scheduling, local QA...) or external (VDP, GVSC, other distribution centres, manufacturing plants, Central Warehouse...) to the department, on activities linked to his/her area of responsibilities

We are looking for professionals with these required skills to achieve our goals:
University degree or relevant practical experience ( Supply Chain, Logistics..)
5+ years of experience in supply chain or equivalent with continuous improvement background and management

**Preferred Qualifications**:
**If you have the following characteristics, it would be a plus**:
Understand the concepts of storage and inventory management, cold chain and vaccines shipment, team management.
Has expertise in GMP and GDP to actively follow and implement the increased requirements of the Pharma business to be inspection ready for FDA, AFMPS, other National Health Authorities inspections.
Develops, organizes and challenges teams to ensure execution of inbound, internal and outbound operations
Drives operations by making most effective decisions based on applicable standards within scope of responsibility
Delegates and controls operations depending on identified potentials
Excellent team and customer contact and very good communication skills
Pro-active, flexible, pragmatical, disciplined, rigorous and resilient
Ability to propose improvement initiatives and identify projects
Ability to train, negotiate and convince
