**JOB DETAILS**:
**Position Job Title: Account Manager Produce, Netherlands**

**Location: home-based in Netherlands or Flanders**

**Contract Type: permanent**

**JOB PURPOSE**

**This role is responsible for achieving sales, sales growth and profitability targets in the territory. The account manager will be responsible for managing a number of accounts in the territory. You are expected to identify the growth opportunities as well as the risks associated within the assigned accounts. You will be expected to build robust account plans to grow and increase profitability. The role maintains frequent face-to-face communication and establishes win-win relationships with existing accounts as well as prospecting for new accounts. Your customers will be mostly based in the Netherlands. Moving forward the role might expand towards Scandinavia. This role requires up to 40-50 % traveling.**:
**PRINCIPAL ACCOUNTABILITIES**

Develop account strategies for existing accounts
- Identify needs and key buying factors beyond price
- Assess opportunities, trends and define aspirations
- Develop close relationships with decision makers
- Be the conduit to develop multi-functional relationships between Amcor and accounts
- Develop and maintain an account plan for each core account
- Maximise sales, sales growth and profitability of accounts in the territory

Establish & maintain strong relationships and face-to-face communication with accounts.
- Act as the direct, primary contact with existing accounts
- Establish strong, multi-level, win/win relationships with identified accounts. Focus is to:
1) Proactively identify growth opportunities
2) Maintain strong win/win relationships
3) Understand existing account requirements
4) Arbitrate between plants and customers when there are disagreements and/or issues with regard to issues such as quality etc.

Be the expert in the territory and of the customer
- Provide accurate forecasts for the accounts in the territory
- Provide feedback on competitors
- Anticipate changes in the marketplace and account behaviour/needs
- Responsible for forecasting and budgeting sales activities by existing accounts and assure the completion of these targets
- Regular reporting of the sales activity in the area

**QUALIFICATIONS/REQUIREMENTS**:

- **Formal Qualifications and Experience**
- A least, 2 years of sales experience in sales (account management & business development)
- Experience in (flexible) packaging ideally within produce / fresh food market
- Higher degree in Business, Sales, Engineering, or similar
- Experience of working in fast-paced, international environment
- **Knowledge** and Experience**
- Fluent English & Dutch
- Knowledge of the packaging business
- **Interpersonal** / Leadership Competencies**
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Strong analytical skills and background
- Sales/customer knowledge & relationship building skills
