We are currently looking for a project expert competence development within the engineering department of the Industrial Air division.
Within the new role you will be responsible to grow and structure engineering competence and knowledge management and will be an integral part of the divisional Learning and Development team.

**The Role**
Within this new role as project expert competence development within our engineering department **you will be responsible for the design, set up and roll out of the competence framework and coordination of various training programs**. You will closely monitor the competence development of our employees. You will be part of the engineering team in an international set up and you will report to the Manager Knowledge, Processes and Systems within the Industrial Air Division.
As the modularity program (the global strategy in Industrial Air to bring leading products faster to the market at a better cost, by aligning interfaces between the modules that set up the compressor) is of high importance within the Industrial Air division, we also expect you to play a significant role in **the roll out of the program by enhancing the competence level and knowledge sharing** between the different product companies of Industrial Air.
You will **develop and manage the competence framework for the engineering departments** in the different product companies for the Industrial Air division.
In this position you define the curricula for the different engineering roles in the product companies worldwide and ensure those are rolled out to the position holders.
It is one of your responsibilities to ensure the training material is up to date and available for the users in Learning Link.
As Competence Development Specialist you continue to develop and improve the division’s engineering knowledge base as core part of the knowledge sharing within our global engineering organization and you create interactive sources for knowledge sharing (cfr I See I Know).
You will be responsible for the practical organization of the training sessions.
Additionally, you set up and manage reporting on effectiveness and the impact of training on employee skills and competences
You work closely together with the divisional competence development team.
**What we expect from you**
- Master degree in engineering or equivalent through experience with affinity and interest in training and development.
- Fluent in English, with strong writing and verbal communication skills is a requirement.
Knowledge on e-learning packages and experience in this domain are a plus.
- You are creative, responsible, customer-oriented and flexible. Open-minded personality with a “can-do” attitude who wants to continuously do better.
- You have an eagerness to grow and learn within your role.
- You communicate effectively and take different perspectives into consideration. You are flexible to adjust communication styles to different audiences, so that the message comes across very clearly.
- You like autonomy and to handle multiple tasks to strict deadlines.
- You have an eye for detail, are well organized and work in a structured way.
- A real team player that can easily work in/with a team and actively contributes to the team performance.
