**Description de l'emploi**
You strengthen the Belgian Cancer Centre, which monitors cancer policy in Belgium and provides support at the various policy levels. The Centre works in close collaboration with political leaders, all actors and stakeholders in the field of cancer in Belgium and within the framework of international initiatives. More specifically, you contribute to the implementation of Europe's Beating Cancer Plan (EBCP) in Belgium.

The EBCP is a large scale initiative launched by the European Commission, which provides funding opportunities to EU-MS in four key areas: (1) prevention; (2) early detection; (3) diagnosis and treatment; and (4) quality of life of cancer patients and survivors.

To strengthen the position of the Belgian fundamental, translational and clinical Cancer Research in the EBCP/MoC, the Belgian Cancer Research alliance (BecRA) has been created. BeCRA is an association between key cancer research players at our universities, hospitals and public health institutes. BeCRa is also supported by some of the major public funders in the fied (Stichting tegen Kanker, KoTK, Antikankerfunds).

You are responsible for:

- The administrative support of BeCRA in day-to-day business
- The regular monitoring of overall activities progress, milestones and deliverables
- Support the development of the BeCRA roadmap and the scientific activities/projects that BeCRA establishes
- Providing assistance in the submission of Interim and Final Technical and Financial Reports

Besides, you will have the opportunity to support the Cancer Centre of Sciensano in a series of activities such as the drafting of reports beyond your responsibilities within the JA.

**Le profil**
Master Biomedical sciences or equivalent

An experience in project management or scientific administration

Good organizational skills

Very good knowledge of English

Good knowledge of Dutch or French

Desired qualification: an experience in supporting and monitoring European research projects

Generic competencies: team player, attention to detail and deadlines, ability to work autonomously
