Disaster Recovery Manager

**Responsabilities**:
- Performs ongoing technical analyses With the IT team to determine the readiness to meet the Recovery Time Objectives (RTOs) and Recovery Point Objectives (RPOs) as defined by the Business Impact Analysis;
- leads efforts to reach desired Disaster Recovery maturity;
- Oversees the development and execution of recovery tests, scenarios definition, including planning, facilitation, and reporting; Makes recommendations for improvements, prioritizes these opportunities, reports risks to management, and manages remediation efforts to completion;
- Conducts disaster recovery training/Table Tops and provides instructional and informational materials on how associates are expected to respond during an emergency;
- Oversees and partners with the Business Continuity team to re-validating RTO/RPOs on a quarterly basis to help ensure that DR capabilities are capable of achieving RTOs/RPOs;
- Maintains a library of recovery support documentation, emergency response documentation, and exercise (testing) documentation;
- Partners with the Business Continuity department and the ICT department to ensure that as new equipment, facilities, services, and systems are installed, the disaster recovery architecture is sufficient to accommodate RTOs/RPOs defined;
- Establish resources and manages relationships with critical vendors/resources for off-site recovery and other resources required for successful resumption of business operations in the event of a disaster;
- Participates in outside DR/contingency planning professional organizations and local/regional emergency response groups to stay up to date on best practices and trends.
**Qualifications**:
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Management Information Systems, or a related discipline or equivalent work experience;
- 5+ years of experience in technical disaster recovery planning, implementation and execution;
- Experience with DR in GCP Preferred but not required;
- Thorough knowledge and understanding of current disaster recovery planning techniques and technologies as well as the methods used in performing risk analyses and business impact analyses;
- Good project management skills; Ability to plan, organize, and direct the testing of emergency response, recovery support, and business resumption procedures;
- Strong interpersonal skills to interface with management and staff at all levels within the organization, vendors of record storage facilities and disaster recovery services.
