**Omschrijving**:
Our client is the entity in Bank that covers the processing of securities. They are talking about a wide range of products like shares, funds, options, etc. They are processing orders coming from clients via a diversity of channels until they are executed on the Markets, manage securities accounts, execute custody processes like dividend payments etc. The main value streams are: Order & Trade, Settlement, Custody and Market Data Services. For each of those streams, there are operational departments, in Belgium and/or in the Shared Service Centre in Brno.

Their clients are the distribution segments (private banking, premium banking, etc), Asset Management, and they also offer BPO surfaces to other financial institutions. Knowing for being the reference in Belgium as “beleggersbank”, they don’t have to mention the importance of our business
They are also very aware our organization has to be added to be ready for the future. Therefor a clear strategic focus including attitude anchors for the individuals is in place and a lot of attention is given to it.

In their BiiO organization, they work fully SAFe (Scaled Agile Framework). BiiO and SAFe are relatively recently introduced, so there’s still room for optimizations and continuous improvement in our way of working, and keep on growing in efficiency and maturity. They might even have a challenge for you, participating in one of our strategic initiatives.

Moreover, innovation in processes and way of working is part of our DNA. So they are quite often involved in new initiatives and/or run pilots.

Their teams are spread over 3 locations in Belgium, being Brussel, Leuven and Ghent, and also include colleagues of the SSC in Brno and ICT colleagues from Cognizant (India).
Obviously working from distance is a very common practice in their teams, also working from home is done frequently. Given these possibilities, they also expect some flexibility in practicalities.

**Profiel**

As a System Administrator you work close together with your direct colleagues in the team as well as with people from system operations, other scrum teams, business departments and our external ICT partners.

As a System Administrator they expect the following recommended technical skills:

- At least 2 years of experience in IBM system management/administration:

- Certainly basic experience of OS commands & functions
- Proven experience in Performance management
- Proven experience in (OS) Security management
- Proven experience as DB administrator (e.g. plan cache review, index management,)
- At least basic Command Language knowledge
- At least basic knowledge of SQL
- Programming experience (CL, RPG) is an advantage
- At least basic knowledge of MQ Series
- Some experience in 3rd party software's (iSecurity/firewall+++, helpsystems; MiMiX, Visual Message Center,..) is a real advantage
- Some experience in IBM softwares : iDoctor, IBM Client Access Solutions (ACS), Navigator for i,is a real advantage
- Awareness/Experience of Cloud Management Console & Flexible Consumption Model
- Knowledge of / Experience with Open source (principles )
- Basic network & connectivity knowledge
- Awareness/Experience in/of the need for certificates
- Keeps up with Technology Refreshes and has an awareness with new features and functions
- Although not part of the future responsibilities:

- Awareness of/Experience in at least one major system hardware upgrade
- Awareness of/Experience in at least one major system operating system upgrade
- Awareness of/Experience in at least one full system restore
