**Position**:
**PURPOSE OF THE JOB
The Technical Services Manager is responsible for organizing and managing efficiently a department that will ensure continued airworthiness of the aircraft operated by ASLB by means of control of our in-house and subcontracted engineering parties and effective planning of the maintenance tasks, in view to achieve good operational reliability in the most cost effective way, with no compromises on safety.

**KEY ACTIVITIES**

**Main tasks and responsibilities
- Provide, for each aircraft type operated, an Aircraft Maintenance Program containing details, including frequency, of all maintenance required to be carried out, and for obtaining Authority (BCAA, AustroControl,..) approval of the program and all subsequent amendments;
- Ensure proper review of applicability and implementation of airworthiness directives, service bulletins and other technical documentation related to ASLB fleet and ensure the implementation follow-up;
- Ensure production and adequate review of the Reliability Program and results and decide on the implementation of proposed actions;
- Study changes/revisions of Authority (EASA, FAA, BCAA, AustoControl,) requirements/regulations;
- Ensure root cause analysis, formulate Corrective and Preventive actions, produce and review occurrence investigation reports, all define measure for SAFA/ARC/BCAA/internal audit non-conformity reports, and ensure implementation of actions for a timely closure of allocated events/findings;
- Review and approve the in-house maintenance procedures, technical instructions and technical information leaflets and ensure continual development of the maintenance schedule and that all technical data is accurately maintained to regulatory requirements,
- Provide assistance and ensure the follow up within expected response times to all technical queries raised by MCC, Flight Ops, Ground Operations, Safety & Compliance, MRO’s, Customers, etc.
- Analyze the fleet performances and prepare/distribute timely the fleet (monthly, 6-monthly reliability, component reports and internal/external customers KPI-reports;
- Supervise qualitatively and timely the deliverables of the engineering subcontractor
- Ensure the availability and access to the latest revisions for the ASLB fleet applicable technical documents (e.g. OEM/STC holder manuals, CAME/TPM procedures, forms,.)
- To ensure that the technical engineering-, planning and tech records teams for each domain, continually perform their duties.
- Ensure the technical engineers, maintenance planner and technical records staff within their responsibilities keep the MIS (AMOS, Envision,) updated.
- To ensure continuous updates of the short
- mid
- and long term maintenance and fleet planning and optimize the fleet availability for minimum downtime balanced with the Customer requirements and AMP limits.
- To ensure the timely preparation, review/approval (as applicable) of executable BOW’s, appropriate coordination with Logistics/MRO’s for the ASLB fleet Line & Base maintenance activities and/or positioning/handling flights.
- Provide assistance/ensure follow up within expected response times to all planning/tech records related queries raised by MCC, Flight Ops, Ground Operations, Safety & Compliance, MRO’s, Customers, etc.
- Ensure the SRP/technical records are collected, accurately processed, filed and archived as per the ASLB standard.
- Ensure the aircraft utilization reports for Lessors and Suppliers are timely produced and distributed
- Ensure for continuous optimization of maintenance work packaging based upon the Aircraft Maintenance program and forecast to minimize downtime and cost, comply to Customer requirements and Regulatory requirements.
