Pr/po Operational Excellence Specialist

For the expansion of our EMEA team, argenx is looking for an PR/PO Operational excellence specialist. This role will report to the Finance organization. The function is based in Belgium and requires regular face-to-face interactions at the office in Ghent.
Key Accountabilities and Responsibilities:
Your primary areas of focus are:
- Owner of procure to pay processes with a focus on requisitioning and approvals- Negotiate a potential rebate set-up with the vendors along with the business partners- Liaise with, consult and collaborate with all appropriate functions, support all function Heads for contracting and PO processes- Work closely with Office managers at country level and Executive Assistant at Region level to ensure best practice sharing and coordination of information- Drive administration operations for contracts and POs for all EMEA legal entities- Vendors management and Contracting operations PR and PO creation
- HCP contracting, including support for transparency reporting- Maintain contracts database and coordinate coding creation- Work collaboratively across geographies and global teams, including notably Legal Affairs and global sourcing and vendor alliance management, to share best practices and process improvements- Work with BIS and other stakeholders to facilitate the continued improvement of the procure-to-pay process and associated tools such as local ERP- Take a lead role in the maintenance and upgrade of the local systems that support the procure-to-pay process- Lead and execute the accrual process during the monthly closing
Desired Skills and Experience:
- Relevant working experience in Procurement department and processes- Minimum of +5 years of overall combined procurement experience within the biotech or pharma industry- Excellent IT knowledge including Microsoft Office. Experience with Oracle Cloud is a plus- You are a connector, building relationships and partnering across the organization to achieve the company goals- Customer service and problem solving attitude- You excel in a fast-paced, results-driven, highly accountable environment- You are pragmatic, yet creative and innovative and lead while "rolling up your sleeves" to get it done- You resonate with the values of argenx and you are ready to drive the Company Culture- The function is based in Belgium and requires regular face-to-face interactions at the office in Ghent
