Job Description
We are looking for an experienced security architect to work as a security trusted advisor across multiple projects across a variety of business areas and Geographies
- Establish close relationships and collaborations with **Eurofins IT Security**, operations, infrastructure, development, and **Group Architecture** to ensure visibility and exchanges
- Establish best practice for **DevOps Teams** security practices and security testing
- Contribute and follow-up on development and evolution of security strategies and roadmap and projects together with **Enterprise, Solution and DevOps architecture **and also **Eurofins IT Security**:
- Drive new technologies or products evaluations through Proof of Concepts together with Programme Developers and **Eurofins IT Security**:
- Take the technical security leadership for platform and solution implementation and transformation together with **Eurofins IT Security **and** Program Application Architects**:
- Collaborate closely with **Eurofins IT Security** on threat modelling and security assessments and their remediations
- Developing security architecture design and blueprints for the target state and ensure their elaboration, validation, and communication with **Eurofins IT Security **and** **Solution Architects**:
- Evangelize and promote Security culture across all **DevOps, Cloud and Group IT Solutions Programs**
Reporting to the **Director of Group Architecture, Agile Engineering and Academy** the Group Architecture** Security Architect** will identify major security deficiencies and define pragmatic approaches on how to remediate them at scale.
Qualifications
**What you bring to the table?**
You will be responsible for ensuring that **Group Architecture, DevOps and Cloud Engineering** platforms and solutions are securely architected, designed, built, configured, tested, and deployed as defined per security policies defined by **Eurofins IT Security **or standards and good practices. Continuously contribute** **to projects within Group IT Solutions development and operations teams to ensure these are in line with **Eurofins IT Security**. Establish concepts for secure integration of systems and networks and ensure end-to-end data-flow security. Research with** **cost-justifying to recommend future visionary architectures for all our systems.
Master’s degree preferred else good Bachelor’s degree and/or **at least** **5 years of experience in security around infrastructure and/or software architecture design, project or audit management, operations and support **as well as experience in **management of cloud-based services** and you used to **act as the expert in project teams, some** - we're looking for you.
Technical Skill:
- Working knowledge of VMware on-prem hosting technologies, Microsoft on-prem hosting technologies and Microsoft Azure hosting technologies.
- Working knowledge of identity management, PKI solutions, log management and multifactor authentication tools.
- Working knowledge of threat modelling and security assessment methodologies.
- Working knowledge of hosting security standards and vulnerabilities.
- Understanding of server management, virtualization, networking, systems management.
- Understanding of automated security tooling in DevOps environment
- Ability to review new IT solutions from a security perspective and document outcomes, exceptions and mitigations
