Senior Business Consultant

**Role**:
Concretely, you will work on various projects in different industries. You'll be in regular contact with clients and will build a thorough understanding of their business strategy and specific needs in terms of energy transition. You will define, with the project team, the to-be organization processes and technologies and develop a workbook for making them succeed.
Your role in one sentence **:_bridging the gap between technology and management_**. This may include:
- Assess and identify emerging trends in energy technology, energy transition, customer behavior and partnerships in line with the organization’s energy strategy
- Be able to analyze and explain technical constraints of different energy sourcing (heat pump versus gas boiler for example,)
- Make comparison scenarios between different energy sourcing (gas, hydro, voltaic,) and between different sources of procurement (purchase, lease,)
- Help our client to set up their energy sharing in renewable energy communities
- Be able to package a process intelligence with a technical energy measurement and a tool/software to process the collected data
- Design surveys and discovery sessions, prepare and conduct interviews, facilitate focus group meetings to gather requirements
- Guide a team through problem definition, issue identification and workplan development using problem solving principles and past experiences
- Be responsible for delivery of assigned tasks within the delivery cycle of a project
**Your Profile**:
- Master's degree in Civil or Industrial Engineering
- Demonstrate working knowledge or relevant experience (4-6 years) in one of the following areas : engineering, designs, studies or projects offices
- Background in Energy/Utilities projects or sector is a plus
- Able to understand the reality at the client
- Keen on working in a team
- Good command of Microsoft Suite, knowledge of some data analytics tools (Power BI) and ERPs is a plus
- Analytical and critical mindset with an eye for detail
- You have a passion for Energy transition and are eager to learn
- Fluent in French or Dutch with a good working knowledge of the second country language and English
- Eagerness to contribute in a team-oriented environment
