Lead SAP BASIS consultant

The role As a senior SAP BASIS Consultant you will design, develop and support our SAP solutions and here for you will: Perform complete SAP landscape upgrades, migration, installations and technical change management projects in close interaction with the clients at their site. Play a key role in the full project lifecycle, from initial set-up of the project to the final delivery of the result Work with the client to analyze their requirements: prepare and participate in workshops, requirement documentation Incorporate innovative products and architectures in existing and new SAP Landscapes (Cloud Solutions, SAP HANA, SSO, Mobile devices …) Coach or lead different tracks and taking on more responsibility as you grow in your career The ideal candidate is an expert in SAP BASIS with a deep knowledge in system administration and technical architecture and has proven experience SAP HANA and related technologies. As a principal SAP BASIS Consultant, you will also be tasked with the responsibility of developing a strong positioning and related proposition in the local (Dutch, French, Belgian and German) market for our Virtual Private Cloud-Hosting In line with this role your will be responsible for the following general tasks: Working with the Group Hosting Director to support local business development of the corresponding offers and propositions Coordinating with the Sales and Pre-Sales teams to deliver added value to customers and prospects by adding technical content to proposals and solution presentations Focus on positioning and supporting sales on our hosting offering Coordinating the related delivery capabilities to also deliver on the promises Put "hosting" as clear primary role in mind in daily activities and focus If you believe you have what it takes, then this could be a great way to progress your career into something truly special. Key abilities Business Development Requirements: The ability to work effectively with Professional Sales and Pre-sales A clear understanding and aptitude at building broadly based professional relationships within numerous client organizations A clear understanding of the sales process including; lead generation, lead qualification, consensus building, champion identification, scope definition, proposal building, proposal tailoring and sales presentations, with a clear view of the proposition Technical Requirements: Demonstrated knowledge and experience with: SAP Basis technology. Implementations, installations, upgrades, migration, conversions Database management of different databases HANA, DB2, ASE and MSSQL The following SAP domains: SAP Netweaver, SAP Cloud Platform, S/4 HANA, SAP Fiori and Mobilit, SAP Solution Manage, SAP Security (Authorizations, GRC, Identity management) Operating systems like AIX, Windows and Linux. Knowledge and experience in the following domains is a pro: Integrating SAP Cloud Solutions and Mobile Devices Security set-up in a distributed SAP Landscape SAP PI/PO Business Objects Professional Requirements: Senior Sap Basis skills - 10+ years Bachelor or master degree or equal by experience Good SAP technical architecture knowledge Ability to explain complex technical subjects in simple language to non-technical people Commitment to quality and successful project delivery Good planning- & organization skills Demonstrated commitment to staff – an effective mentor and leader Proven ability to apply analytical and creative thinking Proven ability to deliver high profile activities within tight timescales Proven success in contributing to a team-oriented environment (teamplayer) A demonstrated experience in supporting sales life cycles Ability to function effectively with customers including senior level client executives Positive professional attitude and work ethic Strong verbal and written communication skills in Dutch and English. Knowledge of the French and/or German language is a pro.
