JOB DESCRIPTION: The scope of our service is to drive and implement robust HSE policies and actions ensuring compliance, safety, and sustainable performance within demanding industrial environments. The Key responsibilities expected from our on-site delegate might include: As a HSE Associate Consultant: - Participate in safety inspections and internal audits. - Assist in occupational risk assessments and environmental impact evaluations. - Contribute to drafting and updating safety procedures and work instructions. - Monitor incidents, accidents, and near-misses, and update HSE performance indicators. - Assist in the implementation of corrective and preventive action plans. - Perform field observations and prepare inspection reports. - Support the organization and logistics of HSE trainings and awareness campaigns. Or as a HSE Lead or Executive Consultant: - Define and implement the HSE policy in alignment with management and regulatory requirements. - Conduct and validate risk analyses (HAZOP, HAZID, FMEA) and compliance audits. - Lead and oversee certification processes (ISO 45001, ISO 14001). - Supervise and coach HSE teams and operational managers. - Oversee incident/accident management, define prevention plans, and ensure their follow-up. - Integrate HSE objectives into engineering projects and continuous improvement initiatives. - Provide regular reporting to authorities, clients, and company management. - Design and deliver advanced HSE training programs and awareness sessions. The experience we are actively looking for: - Master degree or equivalent. - Junior: 1-4 years of experience in HSE, with knowledge of belgian occupational health & safety legislation, or as a QMS / regulatory consultant. - Senior: Certified Prevention Advisor with 5-10+ years of experience with direct responsibilities in HSE roles. Leads audits, independently manages regulatory dossiers, drive HSE cultural changes, and supports digital HSE tools implementation. - Fluent in French and English, Dutch is an asset depending on the site. - An entrepreneurial experience or ambition is a plus (extra-professional or extra-academic is a great start). - Immediate availability is preferred - Presence in Belgium is preferred, with valid Single permit for non-EU citizens. - Rigor, organization, and result orientation. - Excellent written and oral communication, including with clients. - Ability to work with project managers and multidisciplinary teams. - Adaptability and learning mindset for juniors, autonomy for experienced profiles. - Leadership and influence skills for senior profiles (quality reviews, client reference role).
